Life Exchange Camp
For young people with additional needs
Life Exchange is a wonderful camp in the April holidays for campers with a moderate intellectual disability aged 15-21 to come and enjoy the fun and adventure of camp.
Campers are looked after for the 4 days by our experienced team of volunteers. Each camper is also buddied with a mainstream camper and together enjoy friendships, games, music, outings, Bible activities and our famous end-of camp concert.
Dates and costs
Arrival: 9:30am, Wednesday April 8, 2026
Camp finish: 9:30pm, Saturday, April 11, 2026 (after the concert)
Cost: $250 (includes all activites, meals and accommodation)
Accommodation
Campers stay in comfy dorm-style cabins with other additional needs campers as well as mainstream campers who are their camp buddies. Campers can be in a cabin with their friends.
All cabins have an ensuite bathroom.
Level of needs
Life Exchange is suitable for campers with additional needs such as Downs Syndrome and ASD. Campers must be able to walk up stairs, be generally compliant and able to use the toilet themselves.

A Typical Day
- 8am Breakfast
- 9am Singing and Bible Activities
- 10:30am Morning tea
- 11am Craft
- 12:30pm Lunch
- 1:30pm Rotation games
- 4:30pm Showers and rest
- 6pm Dinner
- 7pm Concert practice
- 7:30pm Campfire
- 9pm Supper
- 9:30pm Lights out
Life Exchange PLUS – Weekend Camps
Too old for Life Exchange?
Camp Kedron Kedron runs 2 weekend camps called Life Exchange Plus for additional needs campers who are aged 22 and over.
